This weekend, everyone's favorite downtown science center is all about SLIME!

Slime Time at Imagination Station will have a make-your-own slime buffet for kids to experiment with many different polymers and materials, with 1,053 different combinations of slime.

There will also be two live slime shows every day where some lucky kids will be picked to be completely covered in gooey green slime at the Extreme Science Theatre.

One of the slimes Imagination Station uses to dump on participants is made with applesauce, vanilla pudding, and cornstarch.

Kids and parents can make simple and affordable slime at home with white glue and a few teaspoons of borax.

The science center advises kids and parents to put used slime in the trash and not to pour slime down the drain, as it will harden and can clog pipes.

Slime Time runs October 5th and 6th inside Imagination Station.
