TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) - Storms blowing across Michigan and Ohio on Tuesday night led to mass power outages in Toledo.

As of 10:45 p.m., the Toledo Edison outage map showed more than 21,000 customers were without power in the city, nearly another 1,000 customers without power in Ottawa County. At 4 a.m. Wednesday, around 3,000 customers were still without power in Lucas County while 280 remained without service in Ottawa County. That number in Lucas County has dropped to fewer than 1,800 customers as of 7:30 a.m.

Along with power outages, multiple streets were flooded, with the stormwater system overwhelmed by the heavy rains that accompanied the strong winds, which were gusting nearly 70 mph.
